IMPACT OF MUSIC: REVELATION

Greetings to you beloved in the Lord. It is a great joy to share a message with you. Today I want to share something about the songs(music) we listen to. What songs do you listen to as a believer? Do listen to songs that enrich your growth in Christ Jesus or otherwise? What we listen to plays a great role in our life especially music. 

Music is the only tool that enter the mind of every human without permission. Yes! Have you realized that song you did not spend time to learn but could sing it just like that? The music you disliked but later found it interesting singing it. That's the power of music. Music has become very dangerous especially in our dispensation where every message is communicated through music to people; both good and evil. Glory be to God for always making His Spirit direct us. Had not been that music alone would have misled most of us from the path of righteousness.



Let me digress a little to talk about circular musicians who claim to do gospel songs too. It is reputable that most of the circular musicians started from church before serving the world. Yet it is not as we see that the young man or woman does both circular and gospel[hybrid]. Bible records in John the chapter one that 'His light shined and darknesses did not comprehend.' Do not be blinded by art. God cannot be mocked. He is not a friend to the world. Therefore he who loves the world is an enemy to Him and he who loves God is an enemy to the world too. This tells that one musician cannot sing a gospel music and a circular at the same time. That  is a showbiz! Let me hasten to state that gospel music is not a song with words from the bible. That alone is not enough. It should be centred on God [Father, Son. and Holy Ghost] solely; its inspiration, backing power and impact upon listeners.

Do not be deceived when you see a circular musician doing a gospel music in the name of he or she has converted. Don't believe that! Note that in the last days men shall rise and deceive other men proclaiming they are the Messiah. The glorious revelation is that those fellows have the souls of the world already and therefore doing the gospel will also draw those saved along with them. They have those in darkness and now need those in the light. If the person has really been born again not for the music industry's sake, then let him confess Jesus Christ as the only son of God. Period! I pray God opens our eyes into these things. You would not know when you will be called to account for your life. 

It will be sad to miss eternal life of glory by just a single music you listened to and its impact over you. I pray Jehovah orders your steps in His word. Open your eyes to see and understand things around you in Jesus' name. Amen. Beware of the schemes of the devil especially in this latter days. Grace unto us all.
