IDENTIFYING YOUR VOCAL KEY

Hi brethren,
In this piece, I'm gonna talk about how to identify or "catch" your key on a keyboard. It won't be problematic because you're not a pianist, keyboardist or a musician. You can do it.
Brief overview of the keyboard:
The keyboard is structured in keys namely: C, C#, D, Eb, E, F, F#, G, G#, A, Bb and B. The "#" is called SHARP whilst "b" [not the alphabet B though] stands for a FLAT.
Now to our main exercise for today;
1. Download a piano app from Google store or any online app store. I will recommend "perfect piano". Others may have other apps too, you can try any.
2. Launch the app and open the keyboard using the perfect piano app.
Let me make it easy for you to grasp the skills faster. In front of every two(2) black keys is called "C" and before every three(3) black keys is called "F". So now let's do our naming. If before the two black keys is C, then on your keyboard you start naming: C, C#, D, Eb & E, then we move on to F(before the 3 black keys) giving us F, F#, G, G#, A, Bb & B. You can do this using the names of the keys above (2nd paragraph). Doing the naming of keys right has completed 50% of the work in identifying your key. Just do well to identify the names rightly. The picture attached to this piece will assist you.
Finally to identify your vocal key, keep pressing on each of the keys on the keyboard gradually till you land on the right key which sounds like your last note. Identify the name of the key and that's the key you used for the song. Better still press that key and start singing if it would sound like the same key.
This should help make your key identification and choice easy. Enjoy.
